Professor Sir Michael Brady
Founder, Chairman, Imaging Science & Board Member
Professor Sir Mike Brady is one of Perspectum's co-founders, Chairman, and member of the Imaging Science team. In his capacity as part of the ImSci team, Mike is responsible for developing new technologies to enhance the performance and increase the throughput of our medical devices. The team are at the forefront of applying machine learning methods to medical imaging data. Outside of Perspectum, Mike is Professor in Oncological Imaging in the Department of Oncology at the University of Oxford, having recently retired as Professorship in Information Engineering (1985- 2010).
Prior to Oxford, he was Senior Research Scientist in the Artificial Intelligence Laboratory at MIT, where he was one of the founders of the Robotics Laboratory. Mike is the author of over 750 articles and 26 patents in computer vision, robotics, medical image analysis, and artificial intelligence, and the author or editor of ten books, including: Robot Motion (MIT Press 1984).
